Delete your account.
This page covers Parli, the app published on Google Play and the App Store by Parli — Dirt Work, and the same Parli at parli.io. You can delete your own account yourself, from inside the app, without asking anyone’s permission.
How to delete it.
Four steps, in the Parli app on your phone or at parli.io in a browser. Either one works — it is the same account.
- Sign in to ParliOpen the Parli app on your phone, or go to parli.io and sign in.
- Open SettingsTap your name or picture, then Settings.
- Go to the Security tabScroll to the bottom of that tab, to the red box titled Delete my account.
- Confirm with your email addressTap Delete my account, type your own email address in the box to confirm you mean it, then tap Delete forever. It happens immediately.
Email support@parli.io from the email address on the account and ask us to delete it. We handle it within 30 days, and in practice far sooner. We may ask you to confirm from that address first, so that nobody can close your account by pretending to be you.
Deleting the owner out from under a workspace would strand the whole crew. Hand the company to someone else first, or email support@parli.io and ask us to close the entire workspace instead. Closing a workspace removes its records and files from our systems and cancels its billing with Stripe.
What is deleted, and what stays.
Parli is used by companies, so there are two different things in play: you, and the work you filed for your employer. Deleting your account removes you. It does not reach into your employer’s records.
- Your login — email, password, and any Google or Apple sign-in link
- Your profile: name, email address, phone number, job title and emergency contact
- Your profile photo, including the stored image file
- Your personal settings and preferences
- Your membership of every company workspace you belonged to
- Your name on any team roster
- Any pending invitations sent to your email address
- Your conversations with the AI assistant, and anything it did on your behalf
- Your assistant and voice usage records
- Error reports recorded against your email address
- Your push notification device tokens
- Jobs and projects, and the tasks on them
- Field reports you filed
- Photos and files you uploaded to a job
- Your crew card on the company roster — your login is unlinked from it, and the company can then edit or delete that card themselves
- Equipment, tool and trailer records you created
This is business records law more than it is a policy choice: a field report of a jobsite belongs to the contractor who was paid to do the work, not to whoever typed it. If you want those removed too, ask your employer’s Parli administrator — they can delete a job, and its tasks, reports and photos go with it.
How long anything is kept.
Deleting some data without deleting your account.
You do not have to close your account to get rid of things. Inside Parli you can delete your own notes, remove photos and files you uploaded, revoke any share link you created, and clear your assistant conversations. An administrator can delete a whole job, which permanently removes its tasks, reports, documents and photos including the underlying files.
If you want something removed that you cannot reach yourself, email support@parli.io and tell us what it is.
