Questions

Common questions

What's in a Parli field report?

The job, the date, what the report is for, the weather, the crew count, the work performed, issues or delays, and photos with a note. Weather delay and safety reports stand out in orange in the filed list.

Does it fill in the crew count?

When the time clock is on, the report shows how many people clocked in on that job that day, with their names. Tap Use and the number goes in. You can always type it yourself.

Can I add photos I already took?

Yes. That day's job photos show up in the report. Tap the ones you want, and they aren't uploaded again. You can also start a report from a photo with To report.

Can I file a report for yesterday?

Yes. Pick any past date. Parli tells you if that job already has a report for that day, and still lets you file another one.

Who sees the reports?

Crew members see reports for the jobs they're on. Managers and admins see every report in the company. Each report also shows on the job's Updates feed.

Does it work without signal?

Your draft is kept on the phone, so losing signal mid-report doesn't lose it. Filing the report and its photos needs a connection.

Can I find an old report later?

Yes. Search the filed list, or type a word like lot 44 into the search at the top of Parli. Every report, task and note that mentions it comes up, so the storm day from last month is two taps away.
